How We Work Together
Our Shared Agreements
This work is therapeutic and trauma-informed. Massage therapy supports wellbeing, but it is not a substitute for mental health care, medical treatment, or crisis services. Please continue any care you are receiving from licensed healthcare or mental health professionals. If you have concerns about whether massage is appropriate, consult your provider.
Client Choice & Control
You have the right to:
• Ask questions at any time
• Request changes to pressure, techniques, or positioning
• Pause or end the session for any reason
• Decline any touch, area of the body, or method
Your comfort guides the session. You never owe an explanation.
Communication & Consent
Before we begin, we will discuss your goals, boundaries, and any past experiences that may influence how you receive touch. You may share as much or as little as you choose. Your therapist will check in during the session and adjust based on your preferences. Consent is ongoing and can be changed moment to moment.
Environment & Boundaries
Phoenix Nest Massage is a judgment-free space. We maintain professional, ethical boundaries at all times. Sexual comments, requests, or behavior are not tolerated and will result in the immediate end of the session with full payment due. Your therapist may stop a session if anything compromises safety or trust.
Health & Safety
Please disclose any relevant health conditions—including pain, injuries, medical treatments, or trauma history that may affect positioning or comfort. We adjust sessions to support your unique needs. If you feel unwell or have symptoms that make massage unsafe, please reschedule.
